Tip #1 - Be patient and consistent. It takes months, maybe even years, of doing the right stuff (proper nutrition, probiotics, stress management, etc.) to fully heal your digestive tract.
Tip #2 - Exercise by feel. Our bodies (and digestive system) need regular movement to be healthy. However, pushing yourself to exercise when you feel run down will only backfire later. Listen to your body and don't push your body over the edge, but do make exercise an enjoyable habit in your daily life!
Tip #3 - Less is more. Cut back on mental and physical stress, and know when to say "no" so you don't overcommit yourself. Living an overstressed, rushed lifestyle will interfere with healing. Also, be aware of your own self-induced expectations, and realize that you can't be everything to everyone. Set healthy life boundaries.
Tip #4 - Enjoy yourself! Instead of being caught up in the "do this, do that" mindset, take the time to engage in an activity that helps you unwind, such as reading a good book, take a bath, paint, or any hobby you find enjoyable.
